housing group releases its latest online magazine

The latest edition of County Durham Housing Group’s digital newsletter is now available online.

‘group news’ has all the latest developments from right across the county, including details of an important consultation on proposals to move to a single landlord and changes to governance arrangements.

And the October edition features news of work on a dozen new affordable houses in Peterlee, plus approval for another 50 low-cost homes in Murton. There’s information on the latest projects funded by the ‘group grant’ funding programme, and how a national report has praised County Durham Housing Group’s work to help older people stay in their own homes for longer.

Group Communications Manager, Jill Ancrum, said: “group news is a great way for residents to find out what we’re working on right across the county. In this issue we’ve also got the story of how home improvements in Croxdale have left tenants ‘over the moon’, an update on our exciting Durham Dinners cooking competition and details of a new shared tenancy pilot that could help more people access affordable and secure housing in the county.”

The magazine is fully responsive so can be easily read on a PC, laptop, tablet and mobile phone from www.cdhgroupnews.co.uk.

Anyone wanting a printed copy should email communications@cdhg.co.uk or call 0300 1311 999.
